PROJECT INTRODUCTION
Taking the story of The Familiars by Adam Jay Epstein and Andrew Jacobson, a series of eight illustrations depicting some of the key moments were created.
FINAL SKETCHES
With the thumbnail sketches as reference and feedback from my peers, final sketches for each of the eight scenes were made.
VALUE SKETCHES
Selecting the best option(s) for each scene, these value sketches helped finalize the compositions for each illustration.
THUMBNAILS
For each scene, a variety of thumbnails were created. These served to explore how to best capture the most important moment in each chosen scene.
OTHER PROCESS
A selection of other process work including color thumbnails and some of the character design process.
